From Network Engineer to Technical Project Manager

I didn't start in project management I started in networking, monitoring live systems as a NOC Engineer, then moved into security research, evaluating vulnerabilities and compliance gaps against frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS. That technical foundation is what shapes how I manage projects today: I don't just track timelines, I understand what the engineering and technical teams are actually building.

My most significant project to date was a CPHA-compliant healthcare claims routing system processing live, sensitive PHI data work where precision and compliance couldn't be compromised. I contributed to the Business Requirements Document, built and executed 110+ test cases in Azure DevOps, and worked daily across development, infrastructure, security, and client teams to bring the system to production.

I've also led a full SaaS platform implementation end-to-end (Ceipal), and planned and delivered one of Seneca Polytechnic's largest student innovation events a hackathon drawing 1,000+ participants across 35+ institutions and 30+ industry partners, which I directed from initial scoping through post-event wrap-up as Chief of Staff.

I'm PMP-certified and currently focused on growing into infrastructure-focused Technical Project Management roles, where my technical background and delivery discipline can support complex, high-stakes systems work.
